We cannot recommend silver polishes as these can make matters worse! A silver polishing cloth which is impregnated with polishing compound is the best. Polishing clothes can also bring back a polish to gold jewellery. If your piece is really tarnished bring it in for a professional polish.

Pearl jewellery should be stored in its original pouch or box and not in amongst other jewellery that may scratch. Pearls do not react well to harsh chemicals so make sure you put these on last, after your fragrance. You may which to simple give them a polish with a soft cloth before putting them away. A pearls lustre is enhanced by your natural body oils so wear them often!

Pearls and gemstones if worn often, will need to be rethreaded every 12 to 18 months. I liken it to having your shoes re-heeled…its maintenance.
